In the first game of the 2021-22 season against Grambling State, Diamond Brooks ruptured her Achilles tendon to end her season late in the third quarter.Brooks will officially return to the court for Louisiana- Monroe women's basketball for the 2022-23 season, the school announced Wednesday.'I'm overwhelmed with excitement to be able to return to ULM and finish where I left off,' Brooks said. 'I've been told that I won't be the same, but I think that's the point … to come back better than ever before.
