KENTWOOD, MI - A shooting at a hotel on 28th Street injured one person early Saturday, Feb. 25. The Kentwood Police Department responded around 5:30 a.m. to Delta Hotels, 3333 28th St. SE, for a reported shooting, according to a news release. Officers found a male who had been shot in the leg. The victim is being treating at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Police say there is no threat to the public.
